The new Jung Youngsik Ice Cream AZXi Xiom blade. - By David Mandelstam (Canadian Rating 2048)
This blade has a different carbon on each side. Red side being ALC, and purple side being ZLC. Personally, I use ZLC on forehand and ALC on backhand. This would be very useful if you would want your forehand side have more power and spin while your backhand side being faster. While the AZX version has Koto surface, the AZXi uses Limba as surface, to provide a softer feeling and more flexibility. Upon contact with the ball, the ball sinks into the blade more to provide extra grip and spin. The carbon and the blade as a whole provide strong support for your powerful hit. Similar to what you feel with Hurricane Long 5 and Harimoto ALC.
I use the Xiom Vega China rubber for my forehand and for my backhand I use Xiom Omega 7 Tour. The handle is comfortable to hold with XIOM's 3D scanned Ergonomic grip. It is also uniquely smooth and well designed. The blade is ~90g, which is light weighted in comparison to the other carbon blades I have used before.
